Modulation of the solar microwave emission by sausage oscillations

The modulation of the microwave emission intensity from a flaring loop by standing linear sausage fast magnetoacoustic wave is considered in terms straight plasma slab with perpendicular Epstein profile density, penetrated magnetic field. gyrosynchrotron (GS) nature, and caused mildly relativistic electrons which occupy layer oscillating slab, i.e., emitting volumes do not coincide. It shown that response to highly non-linear. degree non-linearity, defined as ratio Fourier power second harmonic principal harmonic, found depend on combination width GS source viewing angle, different optically thick thin parts spectrum. This effect could be potential tool for diagnostics transverse scales regions filled accelerated electrons.
